This Privacy Policy explains how Yoora collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the app. Yoora is designed as a light record-keeping and monthly review tool that helps users save daily “small joys,” generate simple AI-created cards and monthly summaries, and optionally display anonymous monthly calendars on the Cherish Wall.
We aim to collect only the information needed to provide these features. We do not build a social network, do not offer open chat, and do not use your content for advertising or profiling. By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:
You can usually manage some of these choices directly inside the app, including deleting records, clearing local data, and turning off anonymous public display for monthly calendars. For privacy requests, please contact us at the email listed below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or operational updates. If we make material changes, we will post the revised policy in the app or through another reasonable notice method. The “Effective” date at the top will be updated when the policy changes. Your continued use of Yoora after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Yoora does not use facial recognition, face identification, or biometric analysis. We do not create or store face templates. The app is not designed to collect facial geometry, biometric identifiers, or similar sensitive biometric data.
If any image or face-related data is ever submitted through a feature not currently part of the app’s MVP, it would be processed only to support that feature and then deleted after processing, unless the law requires longer retention. The current app does not require camera access, and no face data is needed to use the service.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect user information. These measures may include access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, limited internal access, monitoring for abuse, and secure infrastructure practices.
No system can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for protecting the device and account access you use with Yoora. We recommend using device passcodes, keeping your operating system updated, and avoiding sharing your account credentials.
Yoora is intended for users who are at least 17 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If we learn that we have collected information from a user under 17, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as soon as practicable.
If you believe a minor has provided information to us, please contact us so we can review and address the issue.
We collect information in three main ways:
We do not require access to your camera, photos, contacts, microphone, or location for the MVP version of the app.
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy and to meet legal or operational requirements.
All AI processing for Yoora is performed exclusively on our own internal servers. We do not use third-party AI services to process user data.
The AI features are limited to generating the daily card, gentle response text, monthly review summaries, and related in-app outputs. We do not use the content you submit or the results generated for model training, model improvement, or fine-tuning.
After the requested AI task is completed, temporary processing data is deleted. AI is used only to provide the app’s requested features and not as a general-purpose chat or advisory system.
Your information may be processed or stored in different countries or regions depending on where our infrastructure, hosting, or operational services are located. This means your data may be transferred across borders and handled under the laws of those jurisdictions.
Where required, we take steps intended to support lawful transfer and protection of information during international processing. By using Yoora, you understand that your information may be processed outside the country where you live.
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade user data. We do NOT share any user-uploaded or user-generated content with any third party. We do NOT use any third-party AI services to process user data. All AI processing is performed exclusively on our own internal servers.
We may use a limited number of third-party service providers only for cloud storage, server hosting, security monitoring, or basic infrastructure operations. Any such provider acts solely on our behalf and under our instructions, is bound by contractual obligations to protect data security, and is not permitted to use user data for any purpose beyond what we instruct.
These third parties do NOT use data for advertising, profiling, AI training, model optimization, their own business purposes, redistribution, or independent access to user content. They may only process the minimum data necessary to perform the contracted infrastructure service.
We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, court order, or valid governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the app, or the public.
We use information only to operate and improve Yoora’s core features, including:
We do not use your information for AI training, advertising, profiling, or selling. We do not use your content to build advertising audiences, behavioral profiles, or third-party marketing segments.
By downloading, accessing, or using Yoora, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and agree to the collection, use, storage, and disclosure practices described here. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the app.
You may stop using the app at any time. Certain data may still be retained for the periods described above, or longer if required by law, but you can delete local records and disable public display through the app’s settings where available.
